Indeed, the world will end in 2012. In full earth-shattering, ground breaking glory.

Skyscrapers, grey-haired grand-parents and pet Chihuahuas will be swallowed up by the earth. And giant tsunamis will sweep everything and everyone but politicians away…

Such is the bleak picture painted by Roland Emmerich in his latest blockbuster 2012 movie, now showing at a cinema near you.

The movie enjoyed a tremendous response from moviegoers around the world. Tickets were sold out in most cineplexes in the first week of its release. 2012 also beat all rivals at the American box office, where the loosely Maya-inspired tale of the world’s end totted up nearly half of all box-office receipts in its opening weekend.

It has become almost formulaic for filmmakers: if they want a box-office success, they know the movie should focus on either blood thirsty creatures of the undead variety, body-snatching aliens, a genetically enhanced Britney Spears, the end of the world, or all of the above.

There was one movie earlier this year alluding to the annihilation of mankind and life in a post-apocalyptic world – Terminator: Salvation. There has been many more in the past – 12 Monkeys (1995), Planet of the Apes (1968 and 2001), and Armageddon (1998), to name just three…

Since the dawn of time, people have been obsessed with the end of time. There has been many predictions and prophecies from well-known figures, religions and cultures.

Some years – 1666, 1999, 2000, 2012, and 2096 – have come up more often than most. But they all have one thing in common: none so far have come true.

1666, so chosen due to its vague connection with the number of the Beast of Revelation, came and went.

So did 1999. It certainly wasn’t the end either for Apple that year, who launched the first iBook, or for Lance Armstrong winning his first Tour de France!

What has also been noted is that doom-saying is de rigeur at the end of every millennium.

Late in the year 999, many had thought the world would end at the stroke of midnight bringing in the year 1000 AD. It was said that so many Europeans were convinced that the world was going to end that they burnt their crops, slaughtered animals, and prepared to die. The world didn’t end that year.

The same Millennial madness surfaced when the year 2000 approached. It was believed that a catastrophe of apocalyptic proportions would occur due to the failure of computers to recognize the year 2000.

Doomsayers predicted that civilization as we know it would come to an end, as everything we depended on technologically would grind to a halt. It did not.

Y2K was, in the end, only a minor problem because everyone saw it coming and had everything fixed ahead of time. Computers did not crash, planes flew, businesses continued to operate, and millennium babies were born.

But our morbid fascination with the End of Days persists. So much so, it has even become part of popular culture. People now flock to cinemas and pay good money (sometimes an astronomical $25/18 EUR for some seats) to witness the many horrific ways, in which our world, and its occupants, could die.

Just what is it about the apocalypse that so fires the imagination? Why do people persists in their predictions and preoccupation with the end of the world?

The answer to that is probably the same as why people are fascinated by grotesque imagery of decapitated limbs, bursting guts and supermodel Megan Fox.

It is catharsis.

It reminds us everything is impermanent, and that we should be grateful for what we have. It tells us how badly things can turn out, and that we ought to be thankful to just be alive; not careening headlong to the center of the Earth, running away from hairy beasts, or impregnated with alien spawn.

The year 2012 will likely just come and go, as years do. The London Summer Olympics will be held that year. It will also be Queen Elizabeth II’s 60th accession to the throne anniversary. There will be a total solar eclipse on November 13th.

What amazing things do you see your self doing that year?

Until then, continue to Live with Passion and Attract Your Dreams!

So, how do you create your own reality?

It’s easy enough to say ‘believe in yourself’ when in reality, you don’t really know how to get that belief to sink in.

Nevertheless, we all have the ability to be in charge of our own destiny and, ultimately, failure rests with you – so does success. If you continue to go through life thinking that life has treated you unfairly, the Law of Attraction will make sure that life really does treat you unfairly – and continue to do so!

So, get rid of all your negative thoughts and any feelings that could be holding you back.

Negativity is a Powerful Emotion!

Be aware that negativity is a powerful emotion and can often be projected from the negative person and picked up by you. Don’t let somebody else’s negativity get hold of you: stay immune and don’t be drawn into their misery. However, if you keep on badgering away, you will eventually achieve success – all it takes is persistence and motivation. After that, the Law of Attraction kicks in and carries on what you started. It is a widely known concept that individuals are largely influenced by their thoughts and feelings and action taken on those impulses can beneficially or detrimentally affect you life in the future, depending on how you respond to those inclinations.

If you read the original text from Chapter 12 of Napoleon Hill’s book ‘Think and Grow Rich’, you will note a rhyme written by Ella Wheeler Wilcox [1850 – 1919] that he included, about the control of the subconscious mind:

You never can tell what a thought will do

In bringing you hate or love

For thoughts are things, and their airy wings

Are swifter than carrier doves!

They follow the law of the universe

Each thing creates its kind.

And they speed over the track to bring you back

Whatever went out from your mind!

Hill noted that Mrs. Wilcox had a particularly profound understanding of the way conscious thoughts can imbed themselves into your subconscious as ‘blueprints’ and affect your future response to the world.

The film ‘The Secret’ probably oversimplified its portrayal of the Laws of Attraction by focusing on the concept of ‘believe and receive’, giving the viewer the impression they could then sit back and do nothing – and still receive the bounties offered by the universe. Not so: anything that is worth having has to be worked for and there is no substitute from taking control of your own life and working hard to achieve the goals you have set for yourself. Once those goals are in place and you have spent some time visualizing them, you then need to spend time focusing on each goal and writing down the steps to take in order to achieve those goals.

What you are actually doing by undertaking these steps is reinforcing the information you are programming your subconscious with. Gradually, you will find that these steps become ingrained in your subconscious that you will constantly be seeking ways to achieve each step – without realizing that you are doing so.

From here on in, you will find the Laws of Attraction begin to kick in and each of those steps could well become a reality.

Get a first hand experience of what the Law of Attraction can do for you and download your free ‘7 Laws of Attraction’ Report at www.discovering-the-law-of-attraction.com

I shall look forward to your comments and feedback.

Attract Your Dreams, and Live them with Passion!

How many times have you caught yourself saying that there could be no other solution to a problem – and that that problem leads to a dead end? How many times have you felt unpowered feeling that the problem laying before you is one you cannot solve. No leads. No options. No solutions.

Did it feel like you had exhausted all possible options and yet are still before the mountain – large, unconquerable, and impregnable? When encountering such enormous problems, you may feel like you’re hammering against a steel mountain. The pressure of having to solve such a problem may be overwhelming.

But rejoice! There might be some hope yet!..
With some creative problem-solving techniques you may be able to look at your problem in a different light. And that light might just be the end of the tunnel that leads to possible solutions.

First of all, in the light of creative problem-solving, you must be open-minded to the fact that there may be more than just one solution to the problem. And, you must be open to the fact that there may be solutions to problems you thought were unsolvable.

Now, with this optimistic mindset, we can try to be a little bit more creative in solving our problems.

Number one; maybe the reason we cannot solve our problems is that we have not really taken a hard look at what the problem is. Here, trying to understanding the problem and having a concrete understanding of its workings is integral solving the problem. If you know how it works, what the problem is, then you have a better foundation towards solving the problem.

Not trying to make the simple statement of what the problem is. Try to identify the participating entities and what their relationships with one another are. Take note of the things you notice to gain dots and understand the current problem further. Now you would have a simple statement of what the problem is.
Number two; take note of all of the constraints and assumptions you have that create the problem. Sometimes it is these assumptions that obstruct our view of possible solutions. You have to identify which assumptions are valid, in which assumptions need to be addressed.

Number three; try to solve the problem by parts. Solve it going from general view towards the more detailed parts of the problem. This is called the top-down approach. Write down the question, and then come up with a one-sentence solution to that from them. The solution should be a general statement of what will solve the problem. From here you can develop the solution further, and increase its complexity little by little.

Number four; although it helps to have critical thinking aboard as you solve a problem, you must also keep a creative, analytical voice at the back of your head. When someone comes up with a prospective solution, encourage yourself to think how you could make that solution work. Be as creative as you can. At the same time, look for ‘gaps’ in the armor of that solution.
Number five; it pays to remember that there may be more than just one solution being developed at one time. Do your best to keep track of all the solutions and their developments. Remember, there may be more than just one solution to the problem.

Number six; remember that old adage,” two heads are better than one.” That one is truer than it sounds. Always be open to new ideas. You can only benefit from listening to all the ideas each person has. This is especially true when the person you’re talking to has had experience solving problems similar to yours.

You don’t have to be a Superman, Wonderwoman, or some other solo hero to solve problems. If you can organize collective thoughts on the subject, it would guarantee you a higher chance of success to crack the code to the solution sought.

Number seven; be patient. As long as you persevere, there is always a chance that a solution will present itself. Remember that no one was able to create an invention the first time around.

Creative thinking exercises can also help you in your quest be a more creative problems solver.

Here is one example:

Take a piece of paper and write any word that comes to mind at the center. Now look at that word then write the first two words that come to your mind. This can go on until you can build a tree of related words. This helps you build analogical skills, and fortify your creative processes.

So, next time you see a problem you think you can not solve, think again. The solution might just be staring you right in the face. All it takes is just a little creative thinking, some planning, and a whole lot of work.

Just wanted to share a couple of videos I watched earlier which confirmed several distinctions for me regarding financial success. In these recently shot videos, Tony Robbins interviews Frank Kern and John Reese to finally understand what makes successful people successful. Why the majority of aspiring entrepreneurs and people in general fail to take action on a daily basis. Why people fail to follow through?

Many people feel like they’re “on the run” from financial problems, looming bills, and uncertainty. In this video you will see how Frank Kern and John Reese experienced the same thing, but went on to make a million dollars in one single day from his parents living room.

In this second interview Tony really “gets in to John’s head.” He manages to uncover John’s system for following through, taking massive action, and achieving amazing success over and over.

After watching the interview, let me know what you think about “the system.”

Enjoy, and as always, give it your best shot, play life at its full potential!

Did you know that hypnosis has been shown in many studies to help prevent and eliminate a number of different medical conditions? In the past hypnosis was only thought of as trickery used for entertainment, more recently it has been used to help people quit smoking and relieve stress but many have not begun to understand how hypnosis can also help prevent and eliminate medical conditions that can affect your health. Hypnotists from around the world believe that the key to healing faster and more effectively is self empowerment combined with the release of fear and denial that may be holding you back. To learn more, please Click Here!

As someone suffering from diabetes, asthma, heart disease, arthritis or any other type of medical condition that you will have to maintain for the rest of your life, you may not realize you are harbouring feelings of denial or resentment and these negative feelings can contribute greatly to the pain you feel and how well you are able to handle your condition. The two most common problems with medical conditions are that the patient chooses to obsess over complications and exaggerate their condition or they choose to pretend there is nothing wrong with them at all. These are actions and emotions that will only create a more serious condition in the long run. To learn more, please Click Here!

Hypnosis can help these chronic medical conditions by encouraging patients to make lifestyle changes that include eating a healthier diet and exercising more regularly. Although this may seem insignificant for someone suffering from Parkinson’s, you will be quite amazed just how much a healthy lifestyle can do for you and your medical conditions. From here the most important step of hypnosis and medical conditions is the ability to help a patient step away from what they have believed or pictured about themselves in the past and create a new image within their mind.

This new and positive and even healthy image can help eliminate excess pain that your mind may have been focusing on and help you focus on what is important in life; living. It can be so easy to become depressed and even angry when you are diagnosed with a long term medical condition and you may not realize it but these negative feelings are constantly residing in your subconscious and bringing down your level of health that much further. To find out more about the benefits of Hypnosis, please Click Here!

Learning how to control your own mind with a professional hypnotist and self-hypnosis can really help you see how negative thinking has been impacting your life. For most people, you can admit that you imagine often images the worst case scenario instead of picturing positive thoughts and images. Hypnosis can help eliminate this type of thinking and alleviate the excess pain it can create through the power of your mind.

No matter what your current medical condition is, it is more than likely that you too are using your mental thoughts and ideas negatively to create a chronic condition that does not have to be. Allow yourself to heal through positive thinking and the control over your mind that you have never had before. Hypnosis can be successful for anyone who learns how to utilize the principles on a day-to-day basis for best results. To find out more about the benefits of Hypnosis, please Click Here!

Learning the life lessons through experiences has been the biggest part of our soul’s purpose for years.

Life Challenges Helps You Find Life Purpose!

When a soul is about to incarnate, it wants to learn Abundance. The soul can choose any one of the following two settings that could provide the best learning opportunities:

1. To take birth in an affluent and rich family and just accept the abundance there

2. To take birth in a poor family and create their own abundance, from rugs to riches

Yes, the second setting is more challenging and less traveled. So the courageous soul is bound to take up the challenge.

But the trouble is you forget that challenge when you come to this world. That is the reason you often wonder why you are born. Because you don’t clearly remember the life lessons you choose prior to birth, you may grow bitter and give up the learning totally.

This is very ironical. Learning the life lessons is one of the main purposes of life. Life is too short to be lived fully. Sometimes it is also too short to have complaints and grudges. Therefore when you have already born there is no point in sulking and wasting your time.

If you want to discover your true purpose in life, you must wash out your mind of all the false purposes you’ve been taught (including the idea that you may have no purpose at all in life).

Your interest and inclinations are the signal of your life purpose. Believe me life purpose is not so difficult to find out once you have an actual desire to discover the same. It’s only a matter of few minutes of days.

Your Inclination/Interests Are Gateway to Your Life PurposeJust look at your interest and mindset. To which direction you find inclined? Keeping in view that particular field you can set your purpose of life. It could be anything, any profession and notion as well. Your inclination towards a particular profession tells you of your life purpose but you often cannot realize it on time. You keep wondering “what exactly my life purpose is”? Unaware of the fact that it’s within you. No one will come and enlighten you about your life purpose.

Just have a deep peaceful thought what you want to be in your life, what interests you and what you are good at. If you could discover the answers for all these queries you are bound to realize your life purpose.

As I explain in my book Find Your Purpose Now! , life purpose is not a commodity that you can get from anyone. It’s an inner voice that you need to evoke. The only thing that should be kept in mind while searching the life purpose is whatever you do or intend to do should be beneficial and at the good faith of the society and planet. That should be in the direction to make this world a beautiful place to live in. Because you owe a lot to the society, it becomes your duty to give it back to the best of your capacity with all means.

This will bring happiness and a sense of fulfillment in your life that is the ultimate step towards life purpose. If your interest does not allow you to be of any use to anyone then you must give a second thought to your inclinations and rediscover if you are really honest to yourself. I am sure every person has something or the other to offer to the society at large in a unique way. This uniqueness you have to discover and it will help you finding your purpose in life.

Your intentions to give something to others should be the actual purpose of your life. And, believe me it will chase you once you are aware what you owe to the society and mankind.

The reason being, I have been focusing on the launch of my new eBook “Find Your Purpose Now!”, and I am happy to advise that it is now official : the book is launched and approved on Clickbank.

When you hear the term ‘life purpose’, you perhaps envision people who are following some higher calling, like priests, nuns, missionaries, doctors and scientists. In other words, people who are doing important work in the world.

People like this are certainly living a purpose, but you may be surprized to learn that a life purpose doesn’t have to be so magnanimous either.

In fact, throughout the pages of my e-book, I am demonstrating that purposeful living can take virtually limitless forms? Most of which you’ve probably never considered before.

The dictionnary defines purpose as:

1) an object or result aimed at : INTENTION
2) RESOLUTION, DETERMINATION

What does this tell us? A ‘purpose’ can be as simple as an intention or a resolution. So, a ‘life purpose’ is really nothing more than a commitment or resolve to live in a certain way and achieve specific objectives. If that sounds a bit confusing, don’t worry. We’re going to clear it up in a hurry.

For now, just know that you DON’T have to have a deep inner calling in order to have a life purpose. You don’t have to give away your worldly possessions and become a missionary in order to make a positive difference in the world.

In fact, you may be surprised to discover that realizing and living your life purpose will be a comfortable and enjoyable process. Bit by bit, you’ll create life circumstances that are totally suited to who you are, your likes and dislikes, natural talents, and much more.

It’s the kind of inner journey that changes everything, from emptiness to satisfaction, from boredom to passion, from aimlessness to unbridled joy and beyond!

Do you have trouble believing that’s possible for you? Do you see your current circumstances as brick walls that you can’t break through? Do you worry that you’re stuck forever exactly where you are?

If so, I ask you to set aside any feelings of doubt and skepticism for now. Be willing to believe that your life DOES have meaning, and be open to the insights that are about to follow in your life, once you start taking the first steps to seek your Purpose.

Please visit the site for my eBook “Find Your Purpose Now!” at : www.find-your-purpose-now.com and let me know your thoughts, I’d be curious to hear your comments, and thank you kindly in advance.

I wish you an outstanding week ahead,

There’s so much to prepare, set up, create, upload, test, etc…and I am loving every bit of it! If you’d like to find out more about the book and its subject, please click HERE or copy and paste this address in your browser : www.find-your-purpose-now.com

Since I mention my book in the topic of Life Purpose, and having awareness/knowing in our hearts the things that drives us most in life (and what we want from it), I have one question for you : What do you really want in life?

Most people don’t discover what they want in life until it’s time to die – and that’s a shame. Most people spend the best years of their lives watching television or doing things they dislike. An author described humanity by saying, “Most people die at twenty and are buried at eighty.” Are you one of the living zombies?

What do you really want in life?

Are you clear about Some people struggle in answering such question. When asked what they want or what their goals in life are, many are unsure. They dillydally in their decision, hardly giving any thought about what they want in life. People without definite goals are letting time pass them by. Are you one of these people? If you are undecided about what you want out of life, do not worry.

There are many ways of discovering your purpose in life. To discover what you want in life, try looking deep into your heart, not in your head. Oftentimes, people are ruled by logic. People live by what they think they should be or by what others like them to be. The discovery process is the perfect time to listen to your heart. What your heart desires comes from the whispers of your authentic self. Your authentic self is the real you.

Listen to your heart to be able to listen to your authentic self. What your heart says usually feels right. What your heart desires is what you usually love to do and this represents your passion. Anything done with passion is like play where the task is accomplished without hesitation. You pour out your very best and feel no pressure or resistance.

You will totally enjoy doing things that are your passion. Setbacks, difficulties, and obstacles will make it more challenging, but should not deter you from pursuing your goals. Naturally, there may be barriers that may prevent you from reaching your goal, but your heart’s desire will find ways to overcome these barriers so that you may ultimately get what you want in life. Remember this: the universe supports people who are pursuing their passion and those who are pursuing their destiny.

However, this does not mean that you don’t use your head. People are born with both the mind and heart. Your duty is to live your best life and be in harmony with your mind and heart. The poet Rumi wisely said, “Live completely in the head and you cannot feel the breath and rhythm of life. Live completely in the heart and you may find yourself acting like a love-struck fool with poor judgment and discipline. It’s all a fine balance – the head and heart must forge a lifetime partnership if one wants to live a beautiful life.”

Listen to your instinct. Part of human nature is the mysterious and spontaneous reaction on things. Often times, these are called instincts. Your authentic self communicates with you and guides you via instincts. Instincts are those gentle nudges that urge you to act and follow a certain path. Your role then is to listen attentively.

Often times, we listen to what others say and allow them to run our lives. Parents often do this to their children. “We come from a family of doctors, so my son must also be a doctor.” How often do we hear this from parents who have good intentions for their children? Parents unconsciously block the true expression of their child’s real self and calling. Friends and critics will discourage you and point out the impossibility of your dream. Before heeding their advice, evaluate the accomplishments of the critics. Did they achieve theirs dreams? Do they dream big at all?…Eleanor Roosevelt once said: ”The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams”…I believe that is something we ought to think about and live by, and I would simply add to her quote, the following : “…backed up with the right strategy”…then there is no reason why success and true fulfillment in the heart and mind, won’t manifest in your life! Go for it!

Remember, it is your destiny that is in line, not theirs. It doesn’t mean, though, that you will not listen to what other people say. Hear them out just the same. But the final decision should be yours. There is only thing to remember: Every person, to live truly and greatly, must define how he wants to live and what his brightest life will look like. Listen to your instincts and follow your heart’s desire. You will never go wrong.

I wish for you to enjoy the warm Summer days and balmy evenings if you are in the Northern hemisphere, and appreciate the beauty of winter and its cozy evenings, should you be located in the Southern hemisphere.

Until soon, I invite you to find your purpose and live it with passion!

Nicolas

If you could do one thing to transform your life, I would highly recommend it be to find something you’re passionate about, and do it for a living.

Now, this isn’t as easy as it sounds, but it’s well worth the effort. If you dread going to your job, or find yourself constantly lacking motivation, or find what you’re doing dull and repetitive, you need to start looking for a new job.

Staying in your current job will not only continue to make you unhappy, but you are not realizing your full potential in life.

Imagine this instead: you get up early, jumping out of bed, excited to go to work. You might put in more hours than the average person, but it doesn’t seem difficult to you, because your work hours just zoom right by. You are often in that state of mind often referred to as “flow,” where you can lose track of the world and time, losing yourself in the task at hand. Work is not work as many people refer to it, but something that is fun and interesting and exciting. It’s not a “job” but a passion.

If you’ve got a job you dislike, or even hate, this will sound like a pipe dream to you. And if you never put in the effort to find what you’re passionate about, you’re right: such a thing will never be possible. But dare to dream, dare to imagine the possibilities, and dare to actually search for what you love, and it is not only a possibility, but a probability.

How can you find what you’re passionate about? Here are some suggestions:

Is there something you already love doing? Do you have a hobby, or something you loved doing as a child, but never considered it as a possibility? Whether it’s reading comic books, collecting something, making something, creating or building, there is probably a way you could do it for a living. Open a comic book shop, or create a comic book site online. If there’s already something you love doing, you’re ahead of the game. Now you just need to research the possibilities of making money from it.

What do you spend hours reading about? For myself, when I get passionate about something, I’ll read about it for hours on end. I’ll buy books and magazines. I’ll spend days on the Internet finding out more. There may be a few possibilities here for you … and all of them are possible career paths. Don’t close your mind to these topics. Look into them.

Brainstorm. Nothing comes to mind right away? Well, get out a sheet of paper, and start writing down ideas. Anything that comes to mind, write it down. Look around your house, on your computer, on your bookshelf, for inspirations, and just write them down. There are no bad ideas at this stage. Write everything down, and evaluate them later.

Ask around, and surf for possibilities. Ask other people for ideas. See what others have discovered as their passions. Look all over the Internet for ideas. The more possibilities you find, the more likely your chances of finding your true passion.

Don’t quit your job just yet. If you find your calling, your passion, don’t just turn in your resignation tomorrow. It’s best to stay in your job while you’re researching the possibilities. If you can do your passion as a side job, and build up the income for a few months or a year, that’s even better. It gives you a chance to build up some savings (and if you’re going into business for yourself, you’ll need that cash reserve), while practicing the skills you need. See below for more.

Give it a try first. It’s best to actually test your new idea before jumping into it as a career. Do it as a hobby or side job at first, so that you can see if it’s really your true calling. You may be passionate about it for a few days, but where the rubber meets the road is whether you’re passionate about it for at least a few months. If you pass this test, you have probably found it.

Do as much research as possible. Know as much about your passion as possible. If this has been a passion for awhile, you may have already been doing this. At any rate, do even more research. Read every website possible on the topic, and buy the best books available. Find other people, either in your area or on the Internet, who do what you want to do for a living, and quiz them about the profession. How much do they make? What training and education did they need? What skills are necessary? How did they get their start? What recommendations do they have. Often you’ll find that people are more than willing to give advice.

Practice, and practice, and practice some more. Don’t go into it with amateur skill level. If you want to make money — to be a professional — you need to have professional skills. Get very good at your future career and you will make money at it. Practice for hours on end. If it’s something you love, the practice should be something you want to do.

Never quit trying. Can’t find your passion at first? Give up after a few days and you’re sure to fail. Keep trying, for months on end if necessary, and you’ll find it eventually. Thought you found your passion but you got tired of it? No problem! Start over again and find a new passion. There may be more than one passion in your lifetime, so explore all the possibilities. Found your passion but haven’t been successful making a living at it? Don’t give up. Keep trying, and try again, until you succeed. Success doesn’t come easy, so giving up early is a sure way to fail. Keep trying, and you’ll get there.

What I’ve outlined here is a lot of work … but it will be the best investment you’ve ever made. Follow your passion, and you will be truly happy and incredibly fulfilled. I wish you the wildest successes of your wildest dreams!

Find your Passion, then live it with Passion!

Blessings, Nicolas
